Marathon Virgins is a collaboration between a rookie marathon finisher, an experienced coach, and a nutritionist. The collaboration started back in 2014 and has helped hundreds of first time marathon runners get their first finisher medals. We provide personalized training schedules along with nutritional plans that are designed to optimize your efforts.

Rookie Marathon Finisher
Marathon rookie finisher of Berlin Marathon 2015. After finishing her first marathon she realized her experience could have been easier and more enjoyable had she had a complete training plan targeting both nutritional as well as training aspects. Empowered by the massive amount of online resources and key experts she took it upon her to start collaborating with others to provide first time marathon runners with the most efficient and personalized training plans.

Mary Bristow
Running Coach
Mary has been a professional running coach for the past 10 years and an avid runner for over 15 years. She's not only helped marathon rookie finishers get their medals, but she's participated in over 10 marathons herself. She's experienced in designing training plans for individual runners and is a senior sports lecturer at Boston College.

Shawn Clark
Nutritionist
Shawn is a licensed sport nutritionist and a sport fanatic. His favorite race is mud races, but he's also experienced in marathon racing. His love for the sport united with his professional experience pushes him to help recreational runners enhance their performance by counseling them on daily nutrition for performance and health and practical sports nutrition recommendations.
